Your visit to the Heritage Homes Group Design Center will be one of the most exciting parts of creating your new home. This is the time when you will personalize your new home with your selections of colors, fixtures, finishes and other details, and when you'll discuss your home customization ideas with our architectural staff.
Here are the typical steps in the Heritage Design Center process...
- After the Agreement of Sale, the Heritage Design Center will contact you to arrange an appointment. Design Center appointments are available Monday-Friday, and we encourage you to visit the Design Center before your appointment to browse and generate ideas.
- Due to the many decisions and selections you'll be making, your appointment will take most of a full business day. We recommend that you not bring small children to your appointment, so that all of your attention can be focused on your selections and decisions that day.
- After your appointment, your Heritage Design Specialist will e-mail a list of your selections for review, and they will schedule a follow-up, "sign-off" appointment.
- You must sign your Design Center requests within 30 days of your Agreement of Sale. At this time, we will collect a 20% deposit on structure options and 10% on décor items. Customization can include room configuration/framing changes, adding windows, adding rooms or entire wings, modifying bathrooms and bedroom suites and requesting special flooring installation.
